Makeup is something which keeps updating trends from dark makeup look to nude makeup look trends keep changing so far
But trends that will be always cool in makeup are just the vibe.. so let's see what are they

1) flawless skin (focusing on skin): keeping in mind less is more this trend goes well
This focussed on point that skin should look clear glossy and flawless
With this look what kind of lip combo you are going to choose will be your choice totally
You can wheather go for glossy or matte look
Remember that eyes should be in pastel colour this makes the look more attractive
And basic too
2) Blush (for statement):
Blush never goes out of style. Keeping in mind that less is more. Always choose blush according to your makeup colour like colour of your lip shade and blush shade should be same. Yess exactly same no resemblence colour. This makes the look perfect and professional
If you are using blush for daily use make sure it is too light. So that doesn't wash out your overall look and if you are wearing it to party apply it in upward direction to make your cheeks look uplifted.you can also add highlighter with blush before applying this gives a shiny glow to your face

Highlighter: highlighting your features can never go out of style 
Even if your not using any of makeup (expect lipstick) it would look great it would just enhance your features and look so natural 
And remember natural is perfection itself

Graphic eyeliner: we all apply eyeliner in most natural and simple way but applying it in a different way in a different design makes its cool
Like making a big wing at the end of your eyes
Making a blank wing at the end of your eyes 
Using stars at the end of the wing will give it some playful look
Making hearts in end of the eyeliner instead of stars will give that lover girl vibes 
To add something more you can play with s me vibrant colours 
Like blue, yellow etc
